Week 14:
- Dates: Wednesday, 12/6-Monday, 12/11 (no class on Wednesday, 12/13–but I’ll host a Reading Day Writing Lab on Zoom instead)
- Meeting Info: This course meets in person for 100 minutes twice per week, Mondays and Wednesdays from 12:00-1:40pm, in Namm 602A. By the end of each week, I will post an agenda that will outline the next weekâs work. It will include instructions for you and links to readings, discussion questions, and other work. We will work on developing community both in our classroom and in our online written community.
Objectives
- To finish Project 3 and reflective cover letter
- To catch up on any missing or late work, especially with the Final Portfolio in mind.
- To schedule a time to talk with me for additional support
- To begin the Final Reflection and Portfolio
- To meet with Prof. Rosen to ask questions and review work for revision/completion.

- Submit Projects 2 and 3 by writing a post, adding your work, and using the category Project 2 Work or Project 3 Work. If you need help, please ask me or consult this Help page on Writing a Post.

Wednesday, 12/6: Final Portfolio and Reflection, Revisions
Texts:
- Projects 1, 2, 3 and any online work to bring into your Final Reflection and to revise for the Final Portfolio
Writing:
- Finalize Project 3
- Begin drafting Project 4: Final Reflection and Portfolio in our Discussion for Brainstorming about the Final Reflection.
- Share any advice or encouragement for finishing the semester to help us do everything we need to do to finish the semester!
In Class:
- Finalize Project 3
- Project 3 part 1: creating a new text
- Project 3 part 2: genre analysis and reflection
- Write reflective cover letter
- Review Final Reflection and Portfolio instructions and begin writing the Final Reflection
- Writing Workshop (if you have a laptop or tablet and can bring it to use for drafting the Final Reflection, please do!)
- Some Final Reflection and Portfolio examples from ENG 1121: Example 1 from ENG 1121; Example 2 from ENG 1121
- Meet with me to discuss your work
- Write a checklist of everything you have to remember to do

- Important: Monday, 12/11, is the last day to drop a class with a grade of W. If you want to consider this, please talk to me first!
