In this workshop series you will learn the basics of the Python programming language, which is widely used in data analysis and scientific computing in both academia and industry. Participants will leave this first session knowing:
- What a computer programming language is.
- How to get set up and install Python and libraries.
- The steps of the software development process.
- How to write simple programs in Python using basic control statements.
