livewell session 3

By completing livewell course steps i have been informative about physical and mental health. I emphasize that i will maintain my exercise and getting healthy food in my rest of life. I also learn about stress release technique which makes my face smiley and makes my soul cool and calm. I strongly recommend all my friends and followers to do this online course

LiveWell session 2

I am always food conscious person, try to be stayed with healthier life, but sometimes couldn’t maintain my routine. After completing Live Well session two nutrition part, I learn a lot about having food quantity , quality and necessity of food in our daily life. I am mostly vegetarian but as I grown up in south Asia , I prefer tea a lot and I was    using sugar in my tea. Live Well  session 2 , teaches me to reduce sugar in tea. I like cook vegetable instead of raw salad. Sometimes I cook mixed vegetable with beans or lentil.  This session provide me a good recognition of healthier food. Now I take black tea and multi grain cookies to start my daily life.

LiveWell-session-1-Exercise

As i read and do the questionnaire , I found that I am staying in contemplation and Preparation level . Yes , I find me out that i am not  taking care of my health enough, But it is positive to me that I intend to start exercise soon. Actually I always try to eat healthier food but I could not manage my time to spend on swimming or running.  I wish I could maintain my healthy life by starting running on the street soon. I read an article running on the street is better than using treadmill.

Active Minds

Active Mind is a non-profitable organization that founded by Alison Malmon in 2003. She was shocked by her brother’s (Brian Malmon) suicide who had mental illness. Active Minds was Incorporated as a 501(c)3 organization in the beginning,  In ten years, the non-profit organization has grown into a well recognized entity in the field, led by a committed team of full time staff members under Alison’s direction. It helps the people mostly the student who is suffering from mental illness and mentally disorder. There are more than 400 colleges or universities which is known and getting help by this organization. This suicide prevention organization’s office is at 2001 S Street, NW Suite 450    Washington, DC 20009 , take him/her who is in mental illness that you know.

Active mind

Active mind is a non profitable organization which is founded by Alison Malmon. It is an organization which is work for mental health development of youth and teen who has suffered from depression. First of all its name was Open mind then it renamed Active Minds Inc. on 2003 and getting more popularity among the youth. There are  400 college & university grounds chapter and so many young adults are benefiting from the Active Minds model.

Active minds mainly work by making networking among the students , they get help from chapter resources , e-newsletter, summits , student advisory committee and so on. Student mental health is a great issue for their success in life , grades and making personality. sometimes students intend to do suicide and Active Mind help them to recover and prevent them from their mental illness.
