Session #3 Maintaining my Physique and bettering healthy eating situation.

Hello,

It was not long ago when I first got my experience with livewell. After completing all the 3 sessions and 9 exercises, I can say that it is a great system to improve one’s situation weather it is health,Ā  stress addiction, or managing difficult life circumstances and there are a lot of these. I got numerous useful advises and opened my eyes wider on things like healthy eating, fruit intake and balancing life’s rest/work in right proportions. Overall I will maintain the esquires habitsĀ  and recommend the system to others.

We shall all be afraid of 7.

– Why is 6 afraid of 7?

– Because 7 just 8 9.

Live Well Post for 2nd session

The second session revisited some of these same questions that the previous one asked about. This has helped to establish and track the progress in the areas that needed to become better, or to continue maintain the good work from before the first stage. I have had my activities side of things on a maintenance stage, as I have been working out for extensive periods of time systematically. However my nutrition intake results showed that I need to eat more fruits and vegetables per day. So I did. I tried to include this type of food in every meal I have and keep at least recommended 4 cups per day. Another suggestion was for me to find someone, who would track my achievements, and have someone to, basically, report to. However I disagree, as I would not trust my motivation and will to lead and maintain healthy living to other people.

Live-Well Exercise

Live-Well really intends to change one’s way of life to a better outcome. This I have learned after completing the first assignment. Which was a set of questions that determined the ā€œlevelā€ of my life. I found it interesting to see, how I fit into the frames of the Live-Well program. It is a good tracking system of progress whether it is a beginner or a steady sports person. To make few parallels between the system and myself: the suggestion would be for me to eat more fruits and vegetables. Also I do not look for encouragement and motivation from friends or colleagues in the sports I am doing. This to me is tedious. I would not trust anyone with my inner will or habit to do sports. I have also noticed that Live-Well and Active Minds are in the same basket. I see that these two resources try to address similar situations and problems. Anyway, i will continue to follow my path and habits and Live-Well program as I progress. As a result I will try to inhabit new habits like eating more fruits and vegetables.

Active Minds Story

By visiting http://www.activeminds.org I have quickly found the ā€œAboutā€ page and read it. It is a sad story about what has motivated the beginning of the active minds community. As I read through, I was reassured once again that academical life of students does not change for decades. Same problems, same frustration and depression. Often, what is counted as mental illness is indeed a lack of communication and mental activism. Students are commonly seen frustrated and depressed by schools and the way educational system works. Of course this is just pure observation on my side, not statistical analysis. However, it is one of these branches, where people are most likely to deem a person as mentally ill rather than talk to her and Ā try to really help with real roots of the problem. As for me, by looking at the active minds web-portal, they have opened a great community of healthy expressionists and listeners. Once who need help and these who can provide help purely by being part of the community. I have notices that not only it is a great web-resource, Active Minds community is also active in physical world, by having numerous Conferences around the country.
