My favorite scene from DOTN is in the end when the boat is docked. Poirot is standing outside and the dead couple (simon and jaqueline) are the ones who are transported out first. He looks at them for a bit until Linnet’s Godmother appears with Mrs. Bowers. Poirot apologizes for her being so wealthy as she passes by. Afterwards, Andrew walks up to Poirot expecting to be arrested but Poirot declined and advised Andrew to settle his affair and pay his debt back. The scene was important to me because it summarizes the bond for Poirot and each passenger and shows how the passengers are affected. In the novel, Simon and Jacqueline are alive by the time the boat is docked. Simon exits first and then comes Jacqueline. Simon apologizes to Jacqueline for telling the truth about the murder. Jacqueline reassures him it’s okay, calling it a fool’s game and they lost. She pulls out a gun and shoots Simon then smiles at Poirot as she aims for her own heart and pulls the trigger.

My favorite part of the movie is when Jackie kept showing up to the different places linnet and Simon went to because it was setting up the movie for something bad to happen and made me feel like she was the killer but then made me doubt myself when she had an alibi, it did match up to the novel she did show up to all the places linnet and Simon went to while I was reading kept wondering if she was going to be the killer but once she had an alibi I kept trying to guess who it was.
My favorite scene in the film was when Rosalie gets upset with Poirot and when she storms off with anger. Poirot attempts to apologize and explain for trying to interrogate her but when Rosalie confronts Poirot she suddenly stops as if she has seen a ghost. Louise’s dead body floats through the ship’s cabin. This was a very bone chilling scene as I did not expect that, this helped build a lot of suspense. It made me question who killed Louise and why? I like how the camera slowly zooms to Rosalie’s face with her breathing frantically(good use of mise en scène). When it comes to how this scene matches with Agatha Christie’s novel. Poriot does discover Louise dead but in a different way, they find her dead on the floor in her cabin holding a banknote.
One of my favorite scenes from the novel Death on the Nile is when HP told Tim that he will not accuse him for stealing the pearls because he saw the love in the eyes of Rosalie for tim.I love the part it just touched my heart when he stood up. He stood speechless for a moment.
His statements felt inadequate at the time, yet they may have satisfied his listeners.
‘Thank you!’ he exclaimed. ‘There’s no need to give me another chance!’ It was the point of relaxation for Tim that whatever he was doing was not right and he will never ever do this again . In the movie character name was not Bouc who steal the pearls but he died in the movie while he try to tell the name of the murderer.
