There is a lot that I learned in the past five years but the most meaningful thing that I have learned was more like seven years ago. Why you may ask yourself âis seven years exactlyâ. Well, thatâs because seven years ago is when I entered The United States Navy bootcamp. Part of me donât doesnât want to bring my military background into my everyday life. But me being in bootcamp and me being in the military is such a big part of me and my life, that I use my past experience to better understand what kind of decisions I have to make for a better future. But I am getting off topic, the biggest lesson that I learned in bootcamp was camaraderie. I say that is the biggest and most meaningful thing that I have learned in my life is because if we has a person or heck has a nation we donât have that camaraderie we are not going very far. And now a days I think thatâs what people are yearning for, we forgot how to be bothers and sisters to the person next to us.
I think that the modern America is built on camaraderie. And trying to understand what are next door neighbor are going through. We live in New York City what the we call the Melting Pot of the world where there are people from all walks of life live together in only five boroughs. And for the past who knows how many years we as a city have come together and moved forward. With a little bit of sympathy and a little bit of camaraderie who know what else we can achieve. Itâs like the saying goes âUnited we stand, divide we fallâ. So, in this point in time, I want to remind people that there is a lot that we can do if we stand together.
Great writing and fine reflections. Thanks.
