Conclusion

As I was researching Law of Attraction, I realized all the articles showcased a similar background. All the articles emphasized the importance’s of how Law of Attraction is a powerful tool and very much effective when it comes to those who believe it. As I was researching this topic, I learned quite a few things. First, the Forbes magazine introduced me to how matter and energy are inseparable. That’s science and is proven to be accurate. I never knew Law of Attraction had science to it. Second, I learned that the mind, attitude and acts one puts up into the world basically meant that you attract people that are alike of you. Lastly, it is not hard to obtain as law of attraction isn’t magic. Anyone can do this if they’re willing to. The effectiveness of Law of Attraction is different for everyone as their belief is diverse. As someone who is curious about how the world really works and the science behind it, researching this topic was fun. As I conclude this reflective annotated bibliography, I will jump back to the question that made me write this research paper, ” how effective is this and why is it such a strong mechanism in today’s society.” Law of attraction is only effective when you see as it is. You can be positive and expect a positive outcome and see things positively whereas if you’re negative, you’ll expect a negative outcome and see things negatively. It’s a strong mechanism in today’s society because teens on social media are making this a trend. It is worldwide known, and people are more likely to use this as they can be influenced.

Conclusion

While researching this topic, I learned a lot about the issue of gun violence in New York City. I found that in all articles there was a common factor in that economic and social hardships played a large role in the amount of gun violence in New York City. Places with poor social and economic support were often shown to have higher rates of shootings and homicides. In addition, I found that gun laws play a role in contributing to shootings; for example, after the lifting of the stricter gun laws in New York, a shooting occurred in Times Square. While doing my research, I was surprised to find that districts in New York City were not homogenous in terms of the causes and factors that led to gun violence. During this assignment, I worked tirelessly to find an answer to my question that would be satisfactory but in this annotated bibliography, I found something much more interesting. As I got deeper into this topic, I realized pinpointing a single answer to my question would be unrealistic. In reality, the question “What causes gun violence in New York City?” is a much more difficult question with a plethora of complexities and different lenses of perspective. As I conclude this reflective annotated bibliography, I can say that the issues of solving gun violence are integral to improving the quality of life in New York City. As a city, I believe that everyone can work together to solve this problem that has been plaguing our society and its people.
