Rahmani’s intellectual home – Rayen osorio

Rahmani’s intellectual home is City Tech because this is where he starts to become the best version of himself. Before taking English at City Tech he didn’t feel like he belonged anywhere he was just doing what he needed to do and was just there. We see this in the first paragraph where he talks about being rejected from schools . However after he took the English class he found the ambition he was missing in college and started to see his own potential. He explains this in the last paragraph when he says “Today as a functioning member of this vibrant community” when talking about his college experience now. He started taking courses he was actually interested in and putting in all his effort. The difference now was that he was actually enjoying what he was doing, he no longer felt depressed, or annoyed by everything.
