Overview
Students will work through the logo design process, pulling from the direction/look and feel they established in the brand snapshot. Through a series of critiques, students will land on a finished logo and from that will build a style guide for logo usage, color, typography, icon style and any additional graphic elements. The presentation design for the style guide should also be consistent with the presentation format created in the brand snapshot.
Style Guide Sections should include:
- Logo: Primary & Secondary
- Logo Usage: Do’s & Don’ts
- Color Palette: Primary & Secondary
- Typography: Primary & Secondary
- Additional Design Elements (Icons, Patterns, Textures, etc.)
You should also include a separate PDF that highlights your WIP regarding how you got to your logo design. This can show some of your Logo ideas that lead to your final concept. In this PDF you should also show any hand drawn sketches or thumbnails you may have worked on.
Due Date(s)
- Week 9, March 23
