Hello everyone! My name is Katie and my pronouns are she/her. I am from California originally but have been in NY for 10 + years. I returned to school a year and a half ago to enter the nursing program but a math class changed everything. As an applied math major, it is such a challenge, and dare I say it- joy, to be able to learn to solve problems with definitive answers. When not immersing myself in my newish found interest in math, I enjoy puzzles, reading, walks, and taking care of my plants. I’m looking forward to a safe and productive semester!
