Photoshop Exercises: Virgilio Samo III 9/4/12

1. JPEG and GIF

As I analyze both images, the GIF image looks more like a painting freshly made. As for the JPEG, I can simply say that it is a high quality photo finish.

2.PPI

As I look at different zoom functions of the images, I do not see any changes. I can safely assume that changing the zoom does not affect the PPI. Don’t believe me? Have a look.

3.Presets

For the flower, it became more of a painting when dithered. When I zoomed in, the pixels became slightly more visible and presentable.

4.Resizing

When it came to the dog image, with constraints on, I saw no differences and it looked exactly as i started. However, when the constraints are turned off, the image can now be minimized or maximized.

5.Cropping
