In these series we will be viewing famous fine art work that have been recreated using the unusual or uncommon art mediums. I will be giving a description on how the art work have been made.
Coffee. What do you all think when you see a cup of coffee? For most people it will probably be just a drink to wake them up in the morning but not for Karen Eland, she has a COMPLETELY different idea when it comes to coffee! Karen had an idea while she was in coffee shop ten years ago, switching from painting with watercolor to painting with a cup of espresso. She found it amusing to recreated old paintings as coffee painting while using shades of brown. Also in her recreations she adds in a coffee cup. For example here is a painting of the Mona Lisa and the Last Supper.
