STEMFemme was looking for other participators throughout the Voorhes cafeteria, when a young female student who was on her way to buy lunch crossed our paths ! She was one of the few females we encountered who’s studies is also in technology. Happy to see women advocating for one another, she excitingly posed for a picture and was receptive of our performance.

Our performance carried out to City Tech’s gaming lounge in the Namm Hall. Unsurprisingly there were mostly males in there, so we gravitated to one of the females who was sitting alone listening to music. She seemed shy at first but was willing to listen to our advocacy for Gender Equality, and including more women into the STEM field.
