Dialogue writing isn’t exactly new to me, considering I’m in the entertainment field, but it is a form of writing I’d like to get better at. I’ve written a couple of different pieces for past classes and personal projects, but overall my experience has been okay. Nothing too special, nothing too mundane. I’ve written a piece where it was most, if not all, stage direction, only with the occasional sigh or grunt, and I titled it “Cereal: A One-Act Play.” Yes, this was written during my first year of college. No, my first year was not spent at City Tech. And yes, I’m glad I don’t have to endure that jaded professor surrounded by even more jaded students.

Office Hours: Tuesdays and Thursdays, 11:30 AM – 12:30 PM. I’ll be available through Zoom and will send an invitation via email that you should keep all semester. Try to join my meeting at the start of the hour, not at the end—since I may be talking to other students or have another appointment after the hour is up. If those times don’t work with your schedule, we can schedule a different time. This means you’ll have to schedule an appointment in advance. I suggest you have multiple times in mind, since your schedule may not mesh with mine!
