Through the dark woods where people say “no man has never come out alive from it” you can hear the crows caterwauling upon the trees of the dark forest, it was as if they were worshiping something? Or someone? But who could it be?. It’s been decades since the sun hasn’t risen, the forest was completely dark for as long as I can remember, I thought to myself, “could it be a curse or a spell? Is there a dark force that we do not know about?”. They say there’s a prophecy that someone will lift up the curse and save us all from the dark forest that no living thing can exist in.Me and my sister lived not far from the dark cursed forest, it was just me and her. Our parents died years ago from the red queen, everyone hated the red queen. Ever since she took over the kingdom, the whole continent turned dark, everything living thing including plants died, you couldt even see a couldt see a single flower grow, but in fact i don’t even remember when was the last time i even saw a flower sprout on its own. 

The red queen always claims herself to be a goddess, but she’s just really a pure devil, the whole kingdom starves, little kids wearing torn clothes, everyone only cares about themselves, it’s a cruel world. Me and my sister Sarah decided to go for a walk towards the dark forest, I mean just for fun right? Sarah looks at me and glares, my face with confusion not knowing as to why she was staring at me like that. “Do you think that we will all be saved? Do you think that someone brave will kill the red queen once in for all? Do you believe in hope and happiness in the future after all?”. 

So many questions all in one, I noticed that all Sarah ever wanted was a bright future for everyone, she finally wanted to see the sun up, seeing the children of the village happy being playful with each other, she always wanted the best for everyone, she always had moms, heart and soul, in her. As we started to get close to the dark forest, Sarah stopped walking and stared, but this time she was not staring at me, she was staring at the forest, something on the trees that caught her attention. “OVER THERE, DO YOU SEE IT??!” I turned around to look at Sarah and said to her “I swear Sarah if this is one of your stupid prank games I’m going to” suddenly as I turned to complete my sentence, I noticed that Sarah was not joking this time, it was for real. We both stopped walking and glared with shock for straight two minutes, we had no idea what to do.
