Dr. Johnson was always fascinated by machines at a young age. She went from making tiny robots in her garage at age twelve to making cybernetic enhancements in her University. She was starting to become a very big part in the technological advancements for humanity. It gives her peace to create machines from scratch. Her robo-dog, Spike, is her best friend, she always wanted a dog but her mother was allergic to them so she crafted herself one that acts like a real dog but made out of metal. Her current iteration of her robo-dog was made in 2077. She’s currently testing her new laser gloves by cutting metal into a toy for her grand-child. Dr. Johnson loves building her creations out in the open in nature because she knows that technology should be parallel to nature. This constant reminder that the two should never cross paths helps her from creating machines for destruction, rather machines to help those in need.

Office Hours: Tuesdays and Thursdays, 11:30 AM – 12:30 PM. I’ll be available through Zoom and will send an invitation via email that you should keep all semester. Try to join my meeting at the start of the hour, not at the end—since I may be talking to other students or have another appointment after the hour is up. If those times don’t work with your schedule, we can schedule a different time. This means you’ll have to schedule an appointment in advance. I suggest you have multiple times in mind, since your schedule may not mesh with mine!

your story was great! but i don’t agree that technology should be connected to nature because technology itself is so dangerous and it is already destroying our planet.
Amazing narrative direction Rakib, I liked the character’s relatable background and the effort put in to give her a past and a future. I can relate to being a child but a guardian being allergic to a certain type of animal so you cant get one. Unfortunately, I never made a Robo-dog but I can definitely imagine a child wanting one of those. All in all, it was a great story, not just because you thoroughly analyzed the image but also didn’t let what was in the image limit you.
