When I was reading the story, the writer was able to make me empathize with the character, though she has been through so much tramatic experiences she stilI aspired to be successful. When I was reading, I had to read a few times because I kept getting lost. What the writer was showing us what the inequality for women in the workplace. Their ideas were stolen by men because women are perceived to be the one that cooks, cleans and take care of the kids while the man goes out and work to bring home the income.
