I liked the dialogue and how descriptive the writer was in the reading. The point of view in the story seems to be from the writer during a younger age. She seems to be around the age of 5-6 probably because she appears to now be starting school. Also, the way the writer was describing herself makes her seem like she was pretty young. The story also felt pretty relatable as well because it talked about starting school for the first time. Which felt like a whole experience to me when I was younger because it’s something completely new. Entering a whole new environment that we’ve never experienced before since we were born. I was also able to relate to the part was when the parent had to get help when filling out documents. A question I have is what else do you remember from that day?
