In this piece of reading there were several things that interested me. For instance, how a women’s family and surrounding environment somewhat shapes her career. which I think has been a society norm around for pretty long. Women seem to be portrayed as someone who’s supposed to keep the house clean and take care of the kids while the husband puts the food on the table. However, for a woman with a job it becomes hard for her to play two roles at the same time. Some women make a lot of sacrifices to keep the family running. In the peiece of writing we saw how she secretly wanted to reveal stuff that she faced but she kept quiet to protect her child. The audience can see that the woman is self made courageous and strong.
