While reading Anonymous’ work, there were a few things that caught my attention and struck with me. I like how anonymous descriptively talked about how “Women adjust to their careers for family life” which is the stereotype that women face for the longest. Women are seen to be the good housewife that raise the kids, which is not an easy job, however women with careers find this difficult to accomplish. Some women would sacrifice their career so their husband could pursue his job and career. Also, when anonymous openly talked about her struggle to gain freedom from her husband it showed that she wanted to tell the world her story and abuse but wanted to keep it a secret for the sake of her daughter and her own safety. I love how from her work we were able to see that she is a hardworking, strong, and ambitious women despite her struggles and that her writing will continue on.
