I heavily related to Patchett younger self. Like her, I have goal, but I’m so indecisive about how I’ll get there that if the opportunity did arise for me to go elsewhere last minute, I’d go. Which would subsequently derail me off my plan for achieving my goal. A question I have for Patchett would be, why couldn’t she wrote more about why she wanted to be a Fiction writer? What lead her to that decision? What other occupations did she mull over that lead her to becoming a fiction writer?
