Journal Assignment #5

One of the most embarrassing moments from my childhood is the time I got kicked out of class. It happened around the 6th grade where in that time I was a sort of a troublemaker. I remember my class back then being a mixture of pleasant and down right annoying for the most part. There were times in the class where I was the peaceful kid in class. For the most part I didn’t cause any trouble in the classroom. However, the problem came when I found myself talking a lot during each class session. It was bad to the point where I didn’t even pay attention in class. I couldn’t even remember most of the material when it came to pop quizzes. I couldn’t help but talk to my friends during class because I was young and did not know better. So came the moment were we had to make groups to complete an assignment and I was talking so loud to the point that I can hear myself more than the rest of the class. My teacher Ms. McDonald, got so frustrated with me that she literally yelled “Jonathan remove yourself from my classroom and report to the principal’s office!!!” I felt so embarrassed that everyone else in class weren’t surprised that I got kicked out of class, the looks on their faces confirmed that. Spending the rest of my time that day at school in the principal’s office taught me a valuable lesson, be a better student and isolate myself from people I know I’m not going to focus in class with.
