The genre that I decided to make is a website since I was able to do one before for my high school. I still need to decide how I am going to go about it but I was thinking of something like an article and maybe see if I can switch it to Spanish. My audience is going to be immigrants, people wanting to come here from other countries, or even policymakers to make the citizenship process easier. The writing component will be about my U2 work on citizenship and how getting the legal status now is not possible for many people who are living here in the U.S. or are wanting to come here. The tools I would need are just my computer and a free website maker that would allow me to customize it.

Class Meetings & Times: in person Mondays and Wednesdays, 2:30 – 3:45 PM in Namm 523A
Office Hours: Tuesdays and Thursdays, 12 – 1:30 PM. I’ll be available through Zoom and will send an invitation via email that you should keep all semester. Try to join my meeting at the start of the hour, not at the end—since I may be talking to other students or have another appointment after the hour is up. If those times don’t work with your schedule, we can schedule a different time. This means you’ll have to schedule an appointment in advance via email. I suggest you have multiple times in mind, since your schedule may not mesh with mine!
