I found reading the documents and summarizing them to be the most difficult part about doing this type of research. I think that this was the most difficult for me because you have to read carefully, more than once and then summarize it, it’s probably the most time consuming part of the assignment for me, I had to go back and forth between the document and my project. Something that surprised me is that I was able to make the word count relatively easy, I think this is the case because I chose a topic that I genuinely enjoyed. It didn’t feel like I was being forced to write. From doing this project, I now feel confident writing an annotated bibliography which is helpful for other classes I may take where it is required. I also learned how to do research on the City tech library website which is useful for the future where I probably need to find articles on there.

Class Meetings & Times: in person Mondays and Wednesdays, 2:30 – 3:45 PM in Namm 523A
Office Hours: Tuesdays and Thursdays, 12 – 1:30 PM. I’ll be available through Zoom and will send an invitation via email that you should keep all semester. Try to join my meeting at the start of the hour, not at the end—since I may be talking to other students or have another appointment after the hour is up. If those times don’t work with your schedule, we can schedule a different time. This means you’ll have to schedule an appointment in advance via email. I suggest you have multiple times in mind, since your schedule may not mesh with mine!
