Question # 1: Why people don’t take this problem too seriously?

Question # 2: If this problem will not be solved in the next couple of years, how much worse will climate change be, and how big of an impact it will have on us, humans?

The social justice issue that I chose is climate change. Climate change was and still is a really big problem amongst us. Climate change is the cause of Deforestation, burning of fossil fuels, factories, cars, basically everything that releases a lot of CO^2, volcanic activity, and farming because animals release methane which is way more dangerous than carbon dioxide. The effects of these causes are that glaciers are melting which is causing sea levels to rise, oceans are getting warmer and more acidic than before, the temperature is rising worldwide, and animal lives are becoming endangered.
