The OpenLab is an open-source, digital platform designed to support teaching and learning at City Tech (New York City College of Technology), and to promote student and faculty engagement in the intellectual and social life of the college community.
Viewing the website and reading your essay really made me happy, both as a teacher and a fellow writer! I’m glad you found something worthwhile in this project, and that it helped you as a writer and a student. I especially enjoyed your choice of comparing the “old” and “new” sides of R&B–you obviously spent time researching as well as putting your personal spin on this site. I also liked reading about your journey as a writer–it was awesome!
A suggestion I’d make about your website is having links to samples of the old and new R&B. You’ve got your audience primed to hear the difference–let them hear!
