Luna Park
Brooklyn, New York
This six-acre amusement park is located on the historic Coney Island Boardwalk in Brooklyn and is part of New York City’s effort to revitalize historic Coney Island. Luna Park is the first new amusement park to be built in Coney Island in over 40 years.
Luna Park offers visitors a variety of exciting amusement park rides, games of chance, mouth-watering treats at five food kiosks and Cyclone Café, a full service restaurant at the corner of Surf Avenue and West 10th. The park’s collection of rides includes family rides, fast spinning rides and thrilling roller coasters.
For 2011, the park expanded with the addition of Scream Zone, an extreme park, with four adrenaline-packed rides, including two new roller coasters. Luna Park is also now the operator of the historic Coney Island Cyclone wooden coaster.
Rides at Luna Park are priced on a pay-as-you-go basis. Unlimited ride wristbands are offered on select days.
