Hello everyone, my name is Cui Zhang (first name is pronounced as Q). My pronouns are she/her. I am currently living in Flushing, Queens. I am an upper senior currently majoring in Communication Design and pursuing the advertising route. This is my final semester here at City Tech. I am finally graduating with my BFA (Bachelor of Fine Arts) degree, cheers. I have many hobbies. During my free time, I like to take pictures of the sky (if they’re pretty), I like to draw, play games, fold stars, and do many DIY art crafts such as painting, or even decorating things with either washi tape, stickers or fake whipped cream glue. I am also a huge fan of collecting Funko pops as well as other mini figures.

The picture below is by far one of the pictures that is extremely meaningful. As a child, I’ve always been fascinated and always liked taking photos of the skies. I realized that taking photographs of the skies, it’s like telling an incredible story using our own point of view and our own imagination. The photograph was taken and created back in 2019. On the left, was the photograph I took, and on the right my friend used her imagination to create beautiful art out of it. Many people have different views when they see the photograph. Some of my friends said, they either saw a dragon, lobster, birds, butterflies..etc.  There are no right or wrong answers in the photograph on the left. It’s all based on our own imagination and what we see.
