Both Raster and vector have similarities and differences. Some of there similarities are that both raster and vector images are used to represent visual information in digital formats. To create an image with using applications that will do the best kind of work. Both raster and vector file formats. ( JPEG,PNG,GIF) is used in Raster while Vector uses the formats (SVG,AI,EPS). The Vector format is more known for scalability and precision. For example, if I made an image I can stretch it to become bigger so I can use the image for billboards, big signs, etc. while if I used the raster format it is most known for projects that are more detailed and is more for photorealistic images.

To the question. What format would i used mostly use? I would use the vector format more…reason being is because I like the idea of making my images bigger or smaller without losing resolution or making it pixelated. Although I am a cartoonist. I like to be in the advertisement field where I can make my word known and allow others to see what I have created as bright as day. Adobe illustrator is my favorite application because with this same application i am allowed to make my imagination run wild.
