i was looking through my soundcloud and discovered some old beats i posted. i remember being in the 12th grade a getting an ipad from school and just really feeling like the only way to prove to myself that i could follow my dream of becoming a rapper or producer was to successfully produce my own mixtape. i no longer feel the need to prove to myself or anyone that i can follow this dream because it has changed, but it’s interesting revisiting the sounds of that time. its like looking at an old photograph.
