Greetings All!

My Name is Adrian Villa & I’m a Bronx Community College Graduate with a A.A.S in Electrical Engineering. I love learning new experiences, hands on activities, & working on labs with a team.

I have many skills in this industry such as Electrical /Electronics Engineering, Teaching, Teamwork, Telecommunications, Research, Microsoft Office. Collecting data, AutoCad, MatLab , LabView, multisim, Problem solving & producing results.

I am also a passionate individual working with children, I was previously a bus attendant managing kids on the bus while being taken to school & back home , I was also a teacher assistant, helping students with there class work. working with the youth as well as being in the engineering industry has always been special to me , & I look forward to teaching the youth on the new engineering industry.

I’m really excited to take my leadership skills to make the world a better place.

Un­der­grad­u­ate Re­search

Re­al­iz­ing the value of the re­search ex­pe­ri­ence at the un­der­grad­u­ate level, this pro­ject is com­mit­ted to fos­ter­ing re­search op­por­tu­ni­ties for City Tech stu­dents. Fac­ulty and stu­dents can use this pro­ject as a place to share an­nounce­ments about re­search op­por­tu­ni­ties, as well as a place to offer in­for­ma­tion about the ex­pe­ri­ences stu­dents and fac­ulty have had in their re­search en­deav­ors. A hand­book on ef­fec­tive men­tor­ing, de­vel­oped by the Un­der­grad­u­ate Re­search Com­mit­tee, is cur­rently avail­able for down­load.

The club con­nects City Tech stu­dents to the world of IFMA. IFMA was “founded in 1980, IFMA is the world’s largest and most widely rec­og­nized in­ter­na­tional as­so­ci­a­tion for fa­cil­ity man­age­ment pro­fes­sion­als, sup­port­ing 24,000 mem­bers in more than 100 coun­tries.”

We wel­come the CityTech com­mu­nity to learn and grow in the areas of elec­tri­cal and telecom­mu­ni­ca­tions tech­nol­ogy. Every se­mes­ter we pro­vide a se­ries of sem­i­nars with speak­ers that pre­sent the lat­est re­search. In ad­di­tion, var­i­ous work­shops are also pro­vided.

Elec­tron­ics Tech­ni­cians As­so­ci­a­tion – In­ter­na­tional Club

Club Mis­sion/Pur­pose: To cer­tify that our en­gi­neer­ing stu­dents are pre­pared to offer the high­est stan­dard of ser­vice in the in­dus­try through hav­ing the right cre­den­tial(s)/cer­ti­fi­ca­tion. This chap­ter seeks to pro­vide our en­gi­neer­ing stu­dents with state cer­ti­fi­ca­tion in their field of study. This cer­ti­fi­ca­tion is able to open doors of op­por­tu­ni­ties for these in­di­vid­u­als. Re­search shows that cer­ti­fi­ca­tion pays off in ad­vance jobs place­ment, higher start­ing salaries, recog­ni­tion to these who are prop­erly trained and cer­ti­fied. We are re­spon­si­ble for rec­om­mend­ing stu­dent ac­tiv­ity fee al­lo­ca­tions, shap­ing poli­cies af­fect­ing stu­dent life, co­or­di­nat­ing ex­tracur­ric­u­lar events and char­ter­ing new or­ga­ni­za­tions.
