  1. I like how you are gonna introduce your dad with credibility. In phase 2, I like how you say you are going to address the negatives of gentrification and also giving a different perspective other than yourself. In phase 3, speaking on solutions for gentrification is a great idea and asking questions is a good way to engage the reader

  2. You did not include a working title for your project. I like the questions you plan to ask. How will you conclude your podcast?

  3. here are some suggestions I would like for you to include. while speaking to your father on gentrification ask him

    • has gentrification personally affected your everyday thinking as being a black individual

    • Are there any worries when it comes to gentrification for not only yourself as a black individual but in a racist society.

    • Are you afraid gentrification can cause more police brutality

    • If you are elected to run as a president, mayor or senator how can you create changes on reducing gentrification

  4. Hey AJ, I’m interested in how you will record your podcast. Gentrification has been a huge problem recently and I don’t believe it’s right we minorities are being kicked out due to the huge markups on our rent. I would like to see how this is personally affecting you as it has affected my family.

  5. 1.In your intro– I hope you will introduce yourself as someone who has grown up in his own family-owned brownstone and felt that you were unique (none of your other friends had this “luxury” — you can borrow a few lines from your Ed. Narrative.

2.You should be able to tell me NOW WHO WILL BE YOUR INTERVIEWEES? At least two and maybe three? If your mom and dad are two interviewees then you need an outside-your-family person.

3.Let’s make some of your questions for your interview more reflective of your research sources. Some ideas I have are:

    • So What is something Blacks Could do to help gentrify their neighborhoods “on their own terms” and “with their own people”? I revised your question based on ifo I learned in the TedTalk from your RAB.
    • Can you tell me about a place in your neighborhood that has gentrified in an “authentic” way?
    • Any ideas on how to help Blacks finance and participate in gentrifying their own neighborhoods? Are there special loans…information you can share to other Black community members who want to buy property but don’t have the money right now?

How many minutes are you shooting for. Let’s say up to but not more than 10 minutes. What do you think about length?

OTHERWISE you are on the right track and good work!

    4. NEED A WORKING TITLE
