Photoshop Workshop for Faculty

Faculty, come to a workshop in the City Tech Library! Are you interested in creating graphics for your class? Would you like to learn how to resize your digital photographs? This workshop will focus on the basics of Adobe Photoshop. Participants will have a better understanding of the toolbar, layers, cropping, image filters, text, special effects, and more.
Date: Wednesday, April 13th
Time: 1 – 2 pm
Workshops are open to all City Tech faculty and staff. All workshops are held in our small classroom (Rm A441) on the 4th Fl. of the City Tech Library, Atrium, unless otherwise noted. RSVP is strongly suggested to Prof. Maura Smale, msmale@citytech.cuny.edu or 718-260-5748.

ARTstor Collections Summary 2008
In 2008, the community continued to contribute important and unique collections to the ARTstor Digital Library. ARTstor released 22 new collections, added content to 21 existing collections, and reached agreements with 33 new museums, photoarchives, libraries, scholars, professional photographers, and artists and artists’ estates. The ARTstor Digital Library collection now totals 890,000 images and will soon include nearly 1,000,000 images with the release of the Magnum Photos collection in early 2009. Upcoming Collection from The Metropolitan Museum of Art: Willi Visit this link am Keighley Collection
ARTstor will add 1,000 images of the pilgrimage route to Santiago de Compostela from the William Keighley Collection at The Metropolitan Museum of Art. The collection contains depictions of geographical terrain and exteriors/interiors of religious buildings, including architectural details, applied arts, and works of art. Additional Photographs from the George Eastman House
ARTstor reached an agreement with the George Eastman House to add approximately 13,000 images to the Digital Library. Agreement with Connecticut College
