Some of your favorite databases have moved!

If you use any of the Wilson databases (e.g., Education Full Text, General Science Full Text, etc.), you’ll be surprised to find that they now look different:

That’s because these databases are now owned by EBSCO. All of the content is the same but the interface has changed.
So how does this affect you? Well, if we did our part right, this should not affect your research in any way! You will only need to update your bookmarks and transfer your “My WilsonWeb” information to a new “My EBSCOhost” account by February 1, 2012. (For more information about “My EBSCOhost,” please visit support.ebscohost.com.) Otherwise, all of the functionality will remain the same and it will be business as usual.

New Enhancements for the WilsonWeb CX Edition Interface

* New “My WilsonWeb” profiles. Using their email address as their password, library users can create their own sub-account within WilsonWeb, where they can create and manage saved searches, search histories, email alerts, and RSS feeds.
* RSS feed for new search results. Configure RSS updates via links on the Search Results or Search History pages.
* New “Content Discovery Keys” on Search Results page. Convenient links launch related searches, allow users to narrow results by author, subject, publication year, document type, and database (for multiple-database searches), or select previous searches from the Recent Searches listing.
