We’re trialing an interesting new product–Pop Culture Universe. It covers [from the publisher’s website] “new technology (iPods, gaming, gadgets)…Internet memes and chatspeak…movies, TV, radio…music…comics and graphic novels…sports and pastimes…fads, fashion, and fast food.” And it has tools for instructors to incorporate popular culture into the classroom as well as resources for student work. This product is on trial until Sept. 30.
