Zombie Walk in Support of NYC Libraries

Support public libraries and your quest for excellent brains this Halloween. Zombies For Libraries (an effort organized by Save NYC Libraries) will gather at Camden Plaza this Sunday at 11:00am, and then cross the Brooklyn Bridge together, ending up on the steps of City Hall.

Kindle adds limited sharing capability.
Last week Amazon announced some new features in their Kindle Forums, one of which is the eagerly awaited ebook sharing capability. Drawback? Kindle ebooks can only be lent once, for a single period of 14 days, after which the title is returned to the original purchaser’s account and no further lending will be permitted.
