Drop-in Research Help
Students! Are you working on a research assignment? Would you like an opportunity to review research strategies covered during library visits? This December, we will be making one of our classrooms available for drop-in help to students (in any course) who are working on research assignments. Librarians will be available at the following times to discuss research strategy and offer support. Please come prepared with a copy of your assignment and any questions you have about the research process.

CUNY Libraries Catalog Will Be Down for Maintenance Over Thanksgiving
Starting at 2 AM (Thursday, November 28th), end users will not be able to search for materials or make requests using the online catalog. Access to electronic online resources will not be affected. It is anticipated that the online CUNY Libraries catalog will be available to users before 12 noon.
Created Equal: America’s Civil Rights Struggle Film Screenings and Discussions
UPDATE: Project directors of the Created Equal grant from the Gilder Lerhman Institute of History will be attending the program on Wednesday, November 20th.
The library is hosting two film discussions in November and December.

UPDATE: WiFi for OS X Mavericks Computers
UPDATE 10.31.2013: Users of OS X Mavericks can now access City Tech’s network.
The latest version of the Apple Macintosh Operating system, OS X Mavericks or OS X 10.9, is not currently compatible with City Tech’s WiFi system. Computers using this operating system will not be able to connect to the WiFi network until further notice.
