Introduction to Photoshop conducted by Professors Monica Berger and Bronwen Densmore
Are you interested in creating graphics for class handouts or websites? Would you like to learn how to edit your digital photographs, create collages, or combine image and text? This workshop will focus on the very basics of Adobe Photoshop. Participants will gain hands-on experience with the toolbar, layers, cropping and text.

Venues and Literature Reviews for Faculty Scholarship and Publication workshop conducted by Professor Anne Leonard
Would you like to explore new venues for publishing your work, but aren’t sure where to begin? Perhaps you’re at the beginning stages of your research or have a completed draft of an article, or are somewhere in between. In this workshop we’ll discuss finding relevant general and discipline-based literature. We’ll also briefly review tools for streamlining your research and citation process, and cover finding publication venues and outlets for a range of research projects.

Our ebook collections are getting bigger and better than ever! Not all of our recently acquired ebooks are available via the catalog but you can browse them directly. Here’s a  list of our new collections:

Limited Availability of the CUNY Catalog

The CUNY Catalog will have limited availability during a scheduled upgrade beginning Thursday, 7/10/2014 .
You will not be able to renew or request items between 7/10/2014 and 7/24/2014.
Search access will not be available between 7/10/2014 and 7/12/2014.
Access to electronic resources on your library’s website will not be affected.

Library Hours

We will be closed from Saturday, 5/24 through Monday, 5/26 for the Memorial Day holiday, and will reopen on Tuesday. Stay tuned for intersession and summer hours.
In the meantime, librarians are available for last minute research consults and advice. If you are completing a research project or looking for study materials in the library, please ask a librarian !
