- Final letter grades will be computed as follows:
- Midterm and final exams: 25%×2 = 50%
o Individual project: Learning about Downtown Brooklyn

Mid-term and final exams (short answers )
There are mid-term and final exams (short answers). Students will have 7-8 short answer questions in class.
Midterm exam will be held on October 20 and final exam will be on December 15.
Individual Project: Downtown Brooklyn

- Students are required to write four short writing assignments about Downtown Brooklyn by focusing on the past and the present of the neighborhood from a predominantly Jewish neighborhood to a Black neighborhood to a gentrified neighborhood with luxurious condos and shops.
