Several of you expressed interest in getting better at factoring. We will be doing it in class, but we will not have a lesson that explicitly covers it, so it’s in your best interest to get some practice outside of class. Here are some links.

1) The Mathematics Department provides free drop-in tutoring online by math specialists for many of our courses, including this one. Here is a website with detailed information, including forms, instructors, and more.

2) The college provides tutoring in person in the Atrium Learning Center, room LG-18. When you enter the building, walk straight through the entrance gates and continue along through the double doors into the L builidng. LG-18 will be on your left. More information can be found here.
3) There is a new tutoring opportunity that is made available by the Black Male Initiative (BMI). You can read more about BMI here. This tutoring is open and available to EVERYONE, not just one group.

It is how you are going to be turning in your written assignments, and also how I’m going to be grading them. Make sure you have access to Dropbox using the email that is on your CUNYFirst file.
