I was the lead author and developer of this course that was submitted as part of our 2011 AAS Major Curriculum Proposal. Since the course launched in Spring 2012, I have continued to adjust and evolve the course working closely with the full-time and part time faculty who teach it. I have also served as the Course Coordinator since Spring 2012, organizing multiple meetings each academic year with the faculty to review student achievement and to address logistical and pedagogical challenges.
