Hello! My name is Jose Betances I was born in the Dominican Republic but migrated to the United States at a young age. I am currently attending City Tech. I decided to attend City Tech because it has one of the best if not the best technology programs in New York. I’m currently in my Fourth semester at City Tech and I’m pursuing a Bachelor in Communication Design. But I wasn’t always pursuing a degree in Communication Design.
My first two semesters at City Tech I was actually Pursuing a degree in Computer Systems, but I quickly lost interest in that. I chose Computer Systems because I thought that dealing with codes would be fun and interesting. But I quickly lost interest in that major. I decided to go after Communication Design because after I saw how much you could do with a simple design and I just thought that, that was really intriguing. In the little period, I have spent in this major I’ve realized just how fascinating it is.
