The controller that I’m interested in learning more about is associated with several products but one in particular is the new Replicator 3D printer.
Besides the fact that the look has improved tremendously, the over all performance has also come a long way. The controller consist primary of the familiar Arduino / Processing programming environments. Both languages are unique, but quite similar to C. They are easy to learn and offer a large community of users for support.
Pros:
Easy to program
Supports all firmware versions for The Replicator and Replicator 2
LCD Display
On board preferences bug fix
Cons:
Maker Bots still use the hard to load plastic, as opposed to the cartridges
More expensive than the CubeX
