• Color Science Videos by Pixar— This is a series of videos on color done by Pixar, the well-known animation studio. Please watch these over the next two weeks and to the practice exercises.

. Today, we reviewed the UCONN Brand Site and the Printing Basics booklet as well at: PrintingBasics_Final_082715 (1)   If you were not in class during our discussion of the Color Bridge, be sure to watch the Videos from Youtube below so you can understand how the Color Bridge is used and the importance of it as a tool in our industry. The first video is an official Pantone Video and the Second is an “Unboxing” Video from two designers explaining the books and how they plan on using it. This second video has excellent content and emphasizes why they made the investment is a tool that allows a designer to specify color numbers over one’s eyes for consistent color. One thing you must understand is that the PMS (Pantone Matching System) is a color standard used in Fashion, Paint, Printing and any industry involved with color. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XtucdAgYYww
