The Hospitality Garden Club was a part of history as we participated with hundreds of thousands of others in New York City’s “People’s Climate March.”
As about 120 world leaders convene at the UN in these next couple of days, we hope that our message of food justice & climate control is heard during the United Nations Climate Summit.
For many of us, this was our very first march. This was a great exercise in social activism but more than that, we are getting a better understanding of what Mahatma Gandhi once said, “Be the change you wish to see in the world.”
