About Me

My first exposure to the dental field was four years ago when I had began working part-time as a dental assistant. From day one on the job, I realized this was what I wanted to do with my career. Something about the oral cavity intrigued me and simply looking at it from a distance next to the dentist bothered me. I wanted a more hands-on experience that involved the mouth as well as the patient.

During that time, I was nearly done with my Bachelors in Business so I decided to continue with my education and earned my degree. I was given a great opportunity to work in a company in the finance division but I knew staring at a computer all day long was not what I wanted. Therefore, I decided to change my career path and now here I am! I couldn’t be any happier with my decision and since the beginning to end of this program, every moment was challenging and yet so satisfying and rewarding.

Aside from dental hygiene my interests are in cooking, traveling, reading, yoga, and running. These leisure activities allow me to be productive with my time and relieve any type of stress.
