Internship

 

I had an incredible opportunity to participate with CUNY Explorers as a representative of the NYCCT Dental Hygiene Department. CUNY Explorers is part of the Mayor’s College Access for All Initiative where middle-school students are given the opportunity to visit a college campus so they can be encouraged to take early steps to achieve their college goals. As a representative and fellow peer guide, I led weekly tours around the dental clinic and educated the students regarding oral hygiene.
