On last weeks class we visit and learn how to use a printing press. There are many important things that make the printing press a revolutionary invention that change the world. First the ability to print books in a shorter amount of time than by the time it took making it by hand. The printing press was complicated at first but as time pass it became more useful and easy to use.
At first the professor showed us how the ink is spread around the disk and it takes longer than what I was expecting. Then the ink fall spreads the ink around the plaque where it would transfer the negatives into a paper sheet. Each paper sheet has to be put in manually and it takes way longer than what we are use to with modern printers. At the end the cleaning proses took as long as spreading the ink.
