Nitrous oxide induction to calm anxious, asthmatic, and patients with sensitive gag reflex.
Local anesthesia infiltrations for pain management within the scope of dental hygiene.
Blood Pressure Screening – Monitor patient’s vitals and if out of the ordinary, a referral would be given.
Oral Cancer Screening- Monitor patient’s extraoral/intraoral conditions and detect any abnormalities which a referral is indicated.
Periodontal and Dental Charting- An essential tool for keeping track of patients periodontal and overall dental health and condition.
Oral Hygiene Instruction as based on patient need
Expose and Interpret Digital/ Film based radiographs (FMS, BWS, PAN)
Caries risk assessment and incorporate appropriate fluoride products.
Arestin administration and evaluation for periodontal pockets of 5-7 mm.
Air polishing for patients with heavy staining
Rubber dam/cotton roll sealant placements on pediatric and adult patients
Periodontal dressing placement to promote healing after periodontal surgery.
Taking Alginate impressions for various needs including custom night guards, study models for orthodontics, and whitening trays.
Scaling and Root Planing as indicated to remove subgingival calculus.
