    I read this earlier and found this idea to definitely have merit for increasing the number inner-city students pursuing STEM majors in college. It will also provide students with consistent math teaching and problem solving opportunities until they reach college.

    This was a very interesting article! Just wanted to post BEAM’s (“Bridge to Enter Advanced Mathematics”) website, and note that they are hiring for both summer and year-around positions–may be an option for those of us that are adjuncts!
